Rosalie Deer Heart is an international workshop leader and retreat facilitator.  She is the author of ten books on the human condition ranging from Healing Grief: A Mother’s Story written after the death of her 14 year old son, to newly published Joy Re-Awakened.   In this interview Rosalie shares how experiencing joy is a daily choice and how harvesting from decades of personal journal entries has brought her to a place of exquisite joy to share with others.

Carl Woestwin “presses juice from every moment” in his poetry collection Lucky Bastard.  Carl was inspired to begin writing by his high school English teacher, Sister Contardo and received his degree in English Literature from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee.  While in college his poems were published locally.  A 45-year hiatus included travel, marriages, his son Sam, groundskeeping, a degree in Horticulture, a landscaping business, men’s groups, work at Seattle Tilth Association and the City of Seattle.  In 2013 he retired a very lucky bastard !
