He is currently the Education Editor, although he also covers veterans affairs, general news assignments, personality profiles, obituaries, courts and cop-related stories. Nott has also written four non-fiction books - all about film personalities. Nott spent four years in the United States Air Force where he wrote for the military unit's newspaper. He is also a playwright and ran the theatre program at Warehouse 21 for ten years.
